Just got in two saddles made by Wilford back in the 70s. He traded them for two cars. They want me to restore them. Some of the conchos are missing along with some hardware.
One is a show saddle with full tool floral with a dye black background. Fully buckstitched with a silver rope cantel, front and horn. It also has full size monkey nose tapadors, The main problem will be replacing the conchos and the diamond shape spots. Never seen these before. They are silver color with a texas star sandblasted in the center. I may have to replace them all with a real silver set and not this cheap metal that these are made of. Ether way I'm going to have a time working on these.

New
Well this is something new for me. I thought I set this up so different ones from around the world can talk and discuss saddles. I have been making saddles for over 10 years now, mainly western styles. I was taught by one of the best, Wilford Lewis, my father-in-law.
